Congratulations to the Percussion

Powhatan hosted the WGI Richmond Percussion Regional this past weekend, and both groups did a fantastic job in performance. The Winter Percussion placed third overall, scoring an admirable 77.8 for their first competition. The Junior Percussion scored a whopping 60.0 on the A-Class sheets -- by far the highest first-show score ever for this group. The parents and kids did an amazing job of hosting this event. Congratulations, everyone!

2010 MARCHING BAND PRESEASON REHEARSAL

Aug 16-20 9am-6pm
Aug 23-27 9am-6pm
Aug 31, Sept 2, & Sept 3 – 3pm-6pm

Please note that the regular season schedule begins the week before school starts!

Starting on Tuesday, August 31st (the week before school starts), we will have practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 3p-6p until the end of October.
