Powhatan is highly active in the winterguard and winter percussion
activities. Locally, Powhatan is a member of Atlantic Indoor Association.
Additionally, Powhatan is an active participant in
Winter Guard International.
This year, Powhatan will be hosting the
WGI Richmond Colorguard Regional on February 3, 2007, and the
WGI Richmond Colorguard Regional on February 17, 2007.

Since 1990, Powhatan Winterguard has been continually performing regionally
and nationally.

A part of Powhatan Junior High School, this is an entry-level group that
performs at local circuit shows.
