Nicholas Snead is currently the Director of Bands at Powhatan High School and Pocahontas Middle School in Powhatan, VA, where he oversees all aspects of the band programs. He directs the Marching Band, both Concert Bands, Jazz Band, and co-teaches PMS 6th Grade Band.  Under his direction, all of his ensembles have consistently received Superior ratings at State and National Concert Assessment, leading to Powhatan High School’s first VMEA Blue Ribbon award and the band program being named a Virginia Honor Band.  Mr. Snead has been honored by his peers being nominated Teacher of the Year, and winning Powhatan High School’s Rising Star Award. Mr. Snead is an active adjudicator and clinician throughout the Mid Atlantic. Mr. Snead is a graduate of Longwood University and has done graduate coursework at Virginia Tech, and Virginia Commonwealth University. His professional affiliations include the Virginia Music Educators Association, Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association, National Association for Music Education, National Band Association, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia , Virginia Education Association, and Powhatan County Education Association where he serves as President.

 Neil Landini is one of the Band Directors at Powhatan High School in Powhatan, Virginia and the county’s Percussion Specialist. He has served in various capacities with the Powhatan Bands and Ensembles since 1997. His responsibilities include the high school marching band percussion section, two indoor drum lines, and five concert percussion classes covering grades 6-12. The Powhatan Varsity Winter Percussion is a 9 time Atlantic Indoor Association Open Class Champion, multi-year WGI Regional Champion and Finalist, and multi-year WGI World Championship Semi-Finalist. Mr. Landini is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. His professional affiliations include the Virginia Music Educators Association, Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association, National Association for Music Education, and Percussive Arts Society. 

Andrew Snead is Director of Middle School Bands in Powhatan, where he oversees all aspects of the 300+ student band program; he also serves as Associate Director at Powhatan High School where his responsibilities include conducting chamber music ensembles, and music caption leadership for the marching band, as well as assisting with all aspects of the program. Mr. Snead also leads the Powhatan County Public Schools music curriculum and is active in arts advocacy and leadership at the state level. Under his guidance Powhatan Jr. High School earned the Blue Ribbon for Music Education. Prior to his arrival in Powhatan, Mr. Snead was Director of Elementary Instrumental Music, Director of the Goochland High School Marching Band, and Arts Festival Chair. Under his direction the Goochland Marching Band earned its first Superior rating at VBODA Marching Band Assessment, and his program at Randolph Elementary School was recognized as Support Music Merit Award School, one of only 120 in the nation to earn this distinction. Mr. Snead is a graduate of Longwood University and completing his Masters of Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. His professional affiliations include the Virginia Music Educators Association, Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association, National Association for Music Education, National Band Association, College Band Directors Association, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia , Virginia Education Association, and Powhatan County Education Association.
